New Label For HAMMERCULT / European Tour
Israeli Thrash machine HAMMERCULT, who recently won Wacken Open Air’s annual “Metal Battle” competition, announced that it has signed with German label Sonic Attack Records (PATHFINDER, ALPHA TIGER), owned by Karl Walterbach – founder of the cult label, Noise Records, in the early ’80s, who also worked personally with such bands as KAMELOT, CELTIC FROST and KREATOR. Serving as the band’s manager, Walterbach will send HAMMERCULT on its first European tour with the legendary Thrash / Crossover band D.R.I. during the month of November. In other news, HAMMERCULT will celebrate its one year anniversary this coming December, all the while working on its debut album for an early 2012 release. The band previously released an EP called “Rise Of The Hammer”.
