MASTER Cancels Its Appearance In Israel

Two days before the planned gig in Israel along with MISERY INDEX, American / Czech Death Metal band MASTER has decided to cancel its participation in the event. Paul Speckmann, MASTER’s main-man, commented: “I was the only original member in MASTER, while the other members were more like ‘hired guns’. At the last moment, today, they decided that they don’t want to perform anymore and they don’t really care about the band. I’m very sad to announce that in light of this situation, MASTER is dead until I find new band members.”

Local Grinders VISCERA TRAIL, who are producing the event, send their apologies to the fans and make clear that the event will take place as planned with MISERY INDEX and THE FADING. As compensation, the bands will be joined by local Oldschool Thrashers HAMMERCULT, who recently won the “Metal Battle” competition and will represent Israel at the “Wacken Open Air” Festival in Germany. The production also announced that ticket prices will go down to 100 NIS instead of 169 NIS (at the box office), and anyone who bought a 139 NIS ticket at the pre-sale, can get a full refund, or the difference at the event.

The Meet-And-Greet session with members of MISERY INDEX has not been canceled, and will take place this Wednesday (May 4th), 18:00, at the “Metal Shop” in Tel-Aviv (Pinsker St. 27).

MISERY INDEX’s concert along with the local Melodic Death Metal band THE FADING, and HAMMERCULT, will be held on Thursday (May 5th), 20:00, at the Sublime Club in Tel-Aviv (Solomon Rd. 53). According to the promoters, the bands are expected to play longer sets than usual!
